Padua International Excellence Scholarship Overview
The Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme is a highly competitive initiative aimed at fostering academic excellence and internationalization. It is open to students enrolling in English-taught degree programs at the University of Padua. Eligible programs span a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to:
Bachelor’s Degrees: Animal Care, Psychological Science, and Techniques and Methods in Psychological Science
Master’s Degrees: Aerospace Engineering, Cybersecurity, Human Rights and Multi-Level Governance, and many more

Scholarship Benefits
Financial Support: Beneficiaries receive a full tuition fee waiver and an annual stipend of €8,000 to assist with living expenses. The only mandatory payment is a yearly admission fee covering the regional tax and marca da bollo.
Duration: The scholarship covers the standard duration of the chosen degree program—up to three years for Bachelor's and Single-cycle degrees, and up to two years for Master's degrees.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must not possess Italian citizenship (except for dual citizenship including Italian).
Must hold a non-Italian foreign secondary school certificate (for Bachelor's or Single-cycle degree applicants) or a non-Italian Bachelor's degree (for Master's degree applicants) that allows admission to the Italian University system.
Should not reside in Italy.
Must apply to one or more English-taught degree programs at the University of Padua. Applicants can apply to up to three different programs.
Should not be receiving any other scholarships; this scholarship cannot be combined with others offered by the University of Padua.
Application Procedure
To be considered for the Padua International Excellence Scholarship Programme, follow below steps:
1. Application to Degree Programs:
Apply to one or more English-taught degree programs at the University of Padua through the University's application portal. Ensure that you meet the specific requirements for each program (Refer to the call for applications PDF for exact list of eligible study programs)
2. Automatic Consideration:
There is no separate application for the scholarship. Eligible candidates who apply for the English-taught degree programs will automatically be considered based on their academic excellence and prior learning records.
Selection Process:
The Academic Committee of each degree program will review eligible applications and award scholarships to the most deserving candidates. The selection is highly competitive and based on academic excellence, quality, and prior learning records. Scholarship recipients are expected to serve as ambassadors for the University at various events.
Acceptance and Maintenance:
If awarded the scholarship, recipients will receive an offer detailing the acceptance procedure and deadline. To maintain the scholarship, students must meet specific merit requirements, including earning a minimum number of ECTS credits by designated deadlines. Failure to meet these requirements or decisions to transfer or withdraw may result in the revocation of the scholarship and the obligation to refund any received amounts.
