Scholarship Overview

Asia University, located in the heart of Tokyo and founded in 1941, is committed to nurturing globally competent individuals. With a diverse student body of 6,800, including 300 international students from 20 countries and regions, the university offers a vibrant academic environment. The institution comprises five faculties:

  1. Faculty of Business Administration: Business Administration Major, Hospitality Management Major, Data Science Major

  2. Faculty of Economics: Economics Major

  3. Faculty of Law: Law Major

  4. Faculty of International Relations: International Relations Major, Multicultural Communication Major

  5. Faculty of Sociology: Contemporary Society Major

 

Scholarship Benefits

  1. Comprehensive Financial Support: Covers 5 years of tuition and fees, including a 1-year intensive Japanese language course and 4 years of undergraduate study.

  2. Accommodation Support: Provides boarding fees for 2 years and covers utility fees for international share housing.

  3. Cultural and Academic Integration: The initial year focuses on intensive Japanese language training, facilitating smoother integration into Japanese society and academic life.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, or Laos.

  2. Age: Candidates should have graduated from high school between March 16, 2024, and March 15, 2025, or be set to graduate by March 2026.

  3. Academic Background: Completion of 12 years of school education (11 years for Myanmar).

  4. Japanese Language Proficiency: Possession of JLPT N3 or N4 certification (Note: N2 and N1 are not applicable).

  5. Academic Performance: Demonstrated high performance in high school, with English scores being mandatory.

 

Application Procedure

1. Application Materials

Both Web Registration and Posting Mail of the following documents are required.


  • Application Form: Complete the 5-page form by hand (After registering an account here)

  • Certificate of High School Graduation: Or an expected graduation certificate.

  • Certificate of Current Enrollment: If currently a high school student.

  • High School Academic Records: Including English scores.

  • JLPT Certificate: N4 or N3 level.

  • Financial Guarantor Documents: Certificates of Employment, Income, Bank Deposit & Relationship to the Applicant

  • Translations: Japanese or English translations of all documents.


ℹ️ Note: All certificates and documents must be issued within 3 months of application.


Application and Admission Schedule (Season 1)

  • March 1-15, 2025: Application Period

  • March 21, 2025: Document Screening Result Announcement

  • March 24-28, 2025: Online Interview Test

  • April 25, 2025: Final Result Announcement

  • December 2025: Visa Application Procedure

  • February 2026: Certificate of Eligibility Issued

  • April 2026: AU Entrance Ceremony
