The fellowship begins with a five-day in-person residency at TMU, where fellows meet their mentors, refine their research proposals, and engage in networking activities. Over the following year, fellows conduct their research remotely under their mentor's guidance, culminating in the production of a peer-reviewed journal article and a presentation at an international conference.
