🎓 Scholarship Overview
The Building Tomorrow Scholarship 2025 aims to broaden the conversation around artificial intelligence and its applications in promoting sustainability and urban resilience. Holcim, a global leader in sustainable building solutions, collaborates with One Young World to support young leaders who are:
Deploying AI technologies for sustainable construction, such as enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing material selection, managing waste, designing eco-friendly buildings, or improving energy efficiency.
Employing AI solutions for urban resilience, including disaster prediction and management, traffic systems optimization, infrastructure maintenance, or climate adaptation planning.
Ensuring responsible AI deployment in urban development, through establishing regulatory frameworks, engaging communities, or fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
Selected scholars will join Holcim’s global delegation at the One Young World Summit 2025, engaging in discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities with peers and industry leaders.
🎁 Scholarship Benefits
Recipients of the Building Tomorrow Scholarship will receive:
Full access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany (November 3–6, 2025)
Hotel accommodation in Munich from November 2–6, 2025
Economy-class travel to and from Munich
All meals covered during the conference days (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
Ground transportation between Summit accommodation and the venue
Participation in a pre-programme in Munich prior to the Summit
