To celebrate 200 years of the University of Huddersfield, which in 1825 was established as The Science and Mechanics Institute, is awarding Chancellor’s Anniversary Scholarships across all PhD disciplines.
These scholarships are available across all academic disciplines for research undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Chancellor’s Anniversary Scholarship coverage:
The Chancellor’s Anniversary PhD Scholarships is Fully Funded that covers 100% of tuition fees as well as additional funds to attend national and international conferences to disseminate and publish their research.
Eligibility criteria
The Chancellor’s Anniversary Scholarships Scheme is a competitive application process open to home (UK resident) candidates and to be eligible you must have achieved one of the following:
2:1 honours degree or above;
Distinction at taught Master’s;
Master’s by Research degree and have a letter of recommendation from your supervisor.
This scholarship applies to eligible research degrees for 2024/25 and is open to home candidates (UK only).
Research degrees include the following awards; PhD, Professional Doctorates, Master’s of Arts by Research, and Master’s of Science by Research.
Application procedure
To apply for The Chancellor’s Anniversary Scholarships Scheme, you need to:
Complete the Expression of interest form
Ensure you check and attach all required documents pertaining to the specific Scholarship you are applying for.
Provide references from two individuals.
