Scholarship Overview
Chulalongkorn University, Thailand's oldest and one of its most prestigious institutions, offers this scholarship to foster international academic collaboration. The program is designed for international students who wish to pursue graduate studies in a wide array of disciplines available at the university. The scholarship aims to support students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to contributing to their home countries upon completion of their studies.
Scholarship Benefits
Tuition Fees: Complete coverage of all tuition-related costs.
Monthly Stipend & Accommodation: 16,000 Baht per month to cover living expenses and housing.
Airfare: Round-trip, economy class tickets with reimbursement limits as follows:
- ASEAN Students: Up to 8,500 Baht
- Other Asian Students: Up to 12,000 Baht
- Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Africa: Up to 20,000 Baht
- North & South America: Up to 30,000 Baht
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Applicants must be international graduate students from ASEAN or Non-ASEAN countries.
Academic Background: Master’s program applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree; Doctoral program applicants must have completed both Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
GPA Requirements: Undergraduate studies: Minimum GPA of 2.75; Graduate studies: Minimum GPA of 3.25
Age Limit: Applicants must be under 40 years of age.
English Proficiency:
- TOEFL score of at least 500, or
- IELTS score of at least 5.0
Health: Applicants must be in good health.
Additional Conditions:
Applicants who have studied at Chulalongkorn University for more than one semester are not eligible.
Recipients cannot defer the scholarship period once granted.
Recipients are not permitted to accept off-campus employment in Thailand during the scholarship term.
Application Procedure
Program Selection: Choose a Master's or Doctoral program offered by Chulalongkorn University.
Application Submission: Submit the completed application form and all required documents directly to the faculty or program of your choice through the designated online application portal
Faculty Review: The faculty will review applications and forward shortlisted candidates to the Office of Academic Affairs for final selection.
