CIMPA-ICTP fellowship Overview
The CIMPA-ICTP "Research in Pairs" Fellowship is a collaboration between the International Centre for Pure and Applied Mathematics (CIMPA) and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). The fellowship aims to support mathematicians from developing countries by enabling them to visit a European colleague’s institution for research collaboration.
Awardees will engage in a joint mathematical research project while also contributing to knowledge dissemination by recording a high-quality mathematics mini-course. This course, approximately 8 hours in length, will be available in English or French and serve as a valuable resource for master's and early PhD students.
The program prioritizes researchers who have remained active despite challenging academic responsibilities and those with limited opportunities for international collaboration in the past five years.
Fellowship Benefits
Financial support of up to €10,000, depending on location and duration of stay
Coverage for transportation, accommodation, visa fees, insurance, and living expenses
