CYBERUS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Scholarship in Cybersecurity 2025

The CYBERUS Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Cybersecurity is a prestigious, integrated international study program designed to train the best students worldwide in cybersecurity. Curriculum, Program Structure, and Tracks

The CYBERUS program is a two-year full-time master's program taught in English. It offers two specialization tracks:

  • IoT Cybersecurity: Focuses on the security of digital objects, their design, and their connections.

  • Software Cybersecurity: Focuses on the security of applications, systems, and programming.


Students will study at multiple universities across Europe and complete an international internship. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, preparing graduates for impactful careers in cybersecurity research, innovation, and consultancy.

 

CYBERUS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the CYBERUS program, applicants must:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

  • Have strong academic records and skills in cybersecurity.

  • Be proficient in English, with a valid English language certificate.

  • Not have previously received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.

  • Expect to graduate by June 30, 2025.

 

Application Procedure

Applications for the Erasmus Mundus CYBERUS Scholarship are made online through the online application portal.


Application Documents:

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • CV (Europass template)

  • Passport

  • National Identity Card

  • Residential registration form

  • Degree/diploma copies

  • University and high school transcripts

  • Proof of top 10% class ranking

  • Cybersecurity certificates (if any)


Extra documents to be provided before the interview for those pre-selected

  • A motivation letter in English. In the letter, the applicant should explain how past experiences have prepared them for participation in the CYBERUS EMJM Programme and how the chosen track is likely to improve their own career perspectives. It should be specific, down to the point, 6,000-10,000 characters long, including spaces,

  • Two (minimum) or three (maximum) letters from referees on official headed paper. They do not have to follow a template. The only provision is that the referees’ contact details should be clearly typed and contain a business email address and a telephone number.


Documents to be provided after the interview for those selected:

  • Proof of proficiency in English measured by international tests: Cambridge General English FCE, IELTS (Academic) 5.5, TOEFL (paper based) 570, TOEFL (computer based) 230, TOEFL (internet based) 72. Applicants should submit standardised English/instruction language test scores.

  • Copy of a nationally-recognised bachelor’s degree (corresponding to at least 180 ECTS) or a master’s degree (corresponding to at least 240 ECTS) with a major in computer science or computer engineering.

  • For those selected on the condition of exceptional five-years’ professional experience minimum, copy of work contracts of the last 5 years at least describing the job title(s).
