TU Delft has announced the rolling of their academic Scholarships for the Academic Years 2025 through 2027. These Scholarships are offered as part of TU Delft | Global Initiative Scholarship Fund which particularly target students from middle and low income countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and/or South-East Asia.
Under this scheme, Delft University announced several Scholarships which we will cover in this article.
TU Delft Academic Scholarships
1). African Water Corridor Scholarship
• Host Institution: Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG)
• Duration: Two academic years (subject to satisfactory academic performance)
• Study Level: Master's programs
• Eligibility:
Open to talented and motivated students from Sub-Saharan African countries especially students from Ghana, Kenya and Tanzania .
Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher
• Scholarship Coverage: Full tuition fee waiver, monthly stipend, and travel allowances
• Eligible Program(s): MSc Environmental Engineering, track Water Resources Engineering
• Application Deadline: 15 January 2025
• Language Requirement: High proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS)

2). Ena Voûte Design Engineering Excellence Scholarship
• Host Institution: Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Faculty of Industrial Design and Engineering
• Duration: Two academic years (subject to satisfactory academic performance)
• Study Level: Master's programs
• Eligibility: International students applying for any one of the faculty’s three Master’s programmes
• Scholarship Coverage: Full tuition fee waiver
• Eligible Program(s): Any of the three Master’s programmes at the Faculty of Industrial Design and Engineering
• Application Deadline: 15 January 2025
• Language Requirement: High proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS)

3. TU Delft Scholarship for Water Governance
• Host Institution: Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM)
• Duration: Two academic years (subject to satisfactory academic performance)
• Study Level: Master's programs
• Eligibility: Students from any of the following regions: East Asia & Pacific, Central Asia, Latin America & Caribbean, Middle East & North Africa, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Scholarship Coverage: Full tuition fee waiver
• Eligible Program(s):
• Application Deadline: 1 February 2025
• Language Requirement: High proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS)

4. Justus & Louise van Effen Excellence Scholarships
• Host Institution: Delft University of Technology (TU Delft)
• Duration: Two academic years (subject to satisfactory academic performance)
• Study Level: Master's programs
• Eligibility: excellent international applicant (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes.
• Eligible Program(s): Any the of 2-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes.
• Application Deadline: 1 December 2024
• Language Requirement: High proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS)
