The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) will start accepting applications for the Danish Government Scholarship starting July 1 2024 for the Semester starting February 2025. This scholarship targets students pursuing Master's degree in one of the following areas:
MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics
MSc in Engineering – Electronics
MSc in Engineering – Mechanical Engineering.
Financial Coverage of SDU 2025 Scholarship:
The Danish Government Scholarship at SDU offers two types of financial support:
• Full Tuition Fee Waiver and Grant: This covers the complete tuition fee and provides a grant to help with living expenses.
• Partial Tuition Fee Waiver: This covers the tuition fee for one year (second and fourth semesters). Students are required to pay for the first and third semesters. The waiver covers 30 ECTS per semester; additional courses are not included.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must satisfy below requirements:
Be a non-EU/EEA citizen.
Be enrolling in one of the master's programs mentioned above
Demonstrate English proficiency comparable to the Danish B level in English. This can be proven through either:
A secondary school leaving certificate (minimum 210 hours at high school level)
An IELTS score of at least 6.5
TOEFL score of 575/230/88
Application Documents:
To prepare for your application, prepare the following documents:
deposit fee receipt.
Official Bachelor’s transcripts and diploma in English, Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian, including grades and ECTS/units/credits.
Course descriptions for the courses on your transcripts.
Proof of English language proficiency.
Application procedure:
To be considered for the scholarship you simply have to apply for admission to one or more of the relevant master's programmes. No separate scholarship application is needed.
