DGIST Research Internship 2025 Overview
The DGIST Research Internship for Undergraduates is a six-week program designed to provide talented international students with the opportunity to experience the research environment at DGIST. Participants will engage in practical, interdisciplinary research under the guidance of DGIST faculty members in their chosen labs.

Program Benefits
Financial Support: Participants will receive financial support totaling approximately KRW 930,000, which includes coverage for dormitory fees and daily living expenses.
Housing: On-campus housing is provided, with two participants sharing a room.

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirements: Applicants must be undergraduate students who have completed at least four semesters by the time of application, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Language Proficiency: High levels of English language proficiency are required.
Nationality: Applicants must hold foreign nationality (non-Korean).
Application Procedure
1. Application Form: Complete the application form available on the DGIST website.
2. Certificate of Enrollment: Provide an official certificate of enrollment issued by your home university.
3. Academic Transcript: Submit your academic transcript, which must show a cumulative GPA and GPA scale.
4. Recommendation Letter: Obtain a recommendation letter from your academic advisor or a faculty member. The recommender should upload the letter directly to the designated link by March 28, 2025 (KST). For the recommendation letter, use this downloadable form.
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Program participants are responsible for obtaining a C-3-1 (Short-term Visit) visa before arriving in Korea. It is the participant's responsibility to secure the visa prior to the program's start.
Health Insurance: Participants are recommended to enroll in health insurance for their stay in Korea.
Expenses: Participants are responsible for covering international and domestic transportation, visa application fees, and other miscellaneous costs.
