Under the scheme of The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC), Donghua University is now accepting applications for the China Link Scholarship Program.
The China Link Scholarship Program is established by the China Scholarship Council to deepen academic friendships and mutual understanding between Chinese and international young talents. It provides a platform for international exchanges and cooperation, allowing international students and faculties to engage in academic and research activities in China.
The China Link Scholarship at Donghua University allows students to undertake a fully Funded year of studying or research as we will be detailing in this article.
Funding Categories:
1. General Scholar: For current undergraduates or master's students.
2. Senior Scholar: For current Ph.D. students or faculties.
Duration:
The program offers scholarships for a duration of 1 to 12 months, with studies starting no later than August 31, 2025.
Instruction Language:
Courses and research may be conducted in English or Chinese, depending on the program provided by Donghua University.
Study/Research Fields:
The scholarship is available for all disciplines except Chinese language studies.
Funding:
The scholarship covers full tuition fee waiver, medical insurance fee, on-campus dormitory fee, and a monthly stipend of CNY 3,000 for general scholars and CNY 3,500 for senior scholars.
Eligibility:
Be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China.
Be in good health, both mentally and physically.
Be enrolled as a full-time student or employed as a full-time academic staff at a CSC foreign partner university at the time of application and throughout the stay in China.
Be under 45 years of age for general scholars and under 50 years of age for senior scholars.
Application Process:
1. Contact Donghua University professors or research groups for initial acceptance or contact the International Student Office via email: iso@dhu.edu.cn.
2. Submit an online application to Donghua University under the guidance of the International Student Office before one of the following deadlines: June 15, 2024; September 15, 2024; or December 15, 2024.
3. Donghua University will review the applications and issue a Pre-admission Letter to successful candidates.
4. Submit the online scholarship application to CSC through Donghua University.
5. CSC will make the final decision on the scholarship award.

Scanned copies of original documents (except ID photo).
Translations and notarizations of documents not in Chinese or English.
Passport (and visa) page.
Certificate of Highest Education.
Transcripts of Highest Education.
Study Plan / Research Proposal.
Application Deadline: December 15, 2024.
