The Engineering the Future Scholarships at the University of Manchester are designed to support academically excellent international students embarking on postgraduate taught studies from September 2024. If you hold an offer from one of the following departments—Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science—you will be automatically considered for these scholarships based on academic merit. Shortlisted candidates may undergo further assessment through a written statement.

Scholarship Value

Successful awardees will receive one of the following tuition fee discounts:


1). Full tuition fee waiver: (up to £36,500) for the MSc Management of Projects suite of programs


2). Four £10,000 partial tuition fee waivers.


3). Ten £6,000 partial tuition fee waivers: These scholarships can also be combined with other University scholarships.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Engineering the Future Scholarships at the University of Manchester, you must meet the following criteria:


1). Residency: You should be a resident of South Asia, South East Asia, or Africa.


2). Program Offer: You must hold an offer from one of the following departments: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science.


3). Self-Funding: These scholarships are available to self-funded international students.


4). Academic Merit: Selection is based on academic excellence, and shortlisted candidates may undergo further assessment through a written statement .


5). English Language Proficiency: have completed an English Language qualification to the required standard for the course.
