Erasmus DAFM Scholarship Summary

  • Host Countries: Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania

  • Duration: 2 years (120 ECTS)

  • Funding: Fully funded scholarships covering tuition fees, travel expenses, and living costs

Curriculum, Program Structure, and Tracks

The DAFM programme offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with a solid foundation in sustainable agriculture and food production. The programme is structured into four main tracks:


  1. Sustainable Agriculture: Focuses on sustainable farming practices and environmental conservation

  2. Food Production: Covers the entire food production chain, from farm to table.

  3. Food Technology: Emphasizes innovative technologies in food processing and preservation.

  4. Interdisciplinary Approaches: Encourages interdisciplinary learning and collaboration across various fields.

 

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the DAFM programme, applicants must:

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Management, or related disciplines.

  2. Have a minimum of 180 ECTS from their previous studies.

  3. Demonstrate proficiency in English (minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

 

Application Procedure

To apply for the DAFM programme, candidates must:

  1. Complete the online application form the Stipendium Hungaricum Application Portal.

  2. Submit a detailed CV and a statement of purpose outlining their interest and qualifications.

  3. Provide two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references.

  4. Attend an online interview as part of the selection process.

  5. Submit your application and all required documents by the application deadline of January 31, 2025.
