Global MINDS Programme Structure and Overview

Global-MINDS is the Erasmus Mundus Master in the Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society. It is a comprehensive 2- year study programme with 120 ECTS focusing on insights into contemporary social and societal issues from Social and Cultural Psychology.

The Global MINDS programme is structured over two years, offering students the chance to study at four different universities across Europe as outlined below.


1). First Year:

Students spend the first semester at either the University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal) or SWPS University (Poland). The second semester is held at either the University of Limerick (Ireland) or the University of Oslo (Norway).


2). Second Year:

Includes a mandatory internship and thesis work, providing practical experience and research opportunities.


The programme focuses on the Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion, and Diversity in Society. It offers insights into contemporary social and societal issues from a Social and Cultural Psychology perspective.

Students can choose from 3 mobility and Study Paths as follows:

  • Path A: Culture & Diversity

  • Path B: Mobility & Society

  • Path C: Inclusion & Health

Global MINDS Eligibility Criteria

  • Undergraduate Degree: Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 100 ECTS or equivalent experience in psychology and research methods.

  • Proof of Enrollment: If not yet completed, proof of enrollment and expected graduation date must be provided.

  • English Proficiency: Non-native English speakers must provide certified English language competency test results. Further information about English language requirements can be found here.

 

Application Procedure and Requirements

1. Eligibility Check Form

Complete the eligibility check form to determine if you qualify to apply.

2. Application Submission

After completing step 1, and if you are eligible for application, you will receive the link to the application form via email.


3. Application Documents

During your application you'll be asked to upload the following documents:

  • Qualification transcripts and certificates

  • A copy of your birth certificate or passport

  • CV (in Europass format ONLY)

  • Supporting statement: Explaining why you are a suitable candidate for the Global-MINDS programme, including the justification for the choice of mobility path. Please indicate if you are applying for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or as a self-funded student (or both). If you are applying for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, please justify your application for the scholarship.


4. Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview.
