✅ Eligibility Criteria
Be middle or high school science teachers
Teach at least one course per school year primarily focused on forensic science, chemistry, biology, physics, computer science, or engineering
📝 Application Procedure
Submit the following electronically by May 1, 2025:
Letter from the Teacher: Include your full name, school name, grades and classes taught, and a detailed description of how you plan to use the grant funds, including a tentative budget and integration of forensic science into teaching.
Teacher Certifications: Provide copies of current, valid teaching certifications.
Course Description: Submit your current course announcement or a proposed syllabus for the forensic science-related course(s). Indicate if this is a new or established curriculum and mention any use of external guest lecturers.
Demonstration of Financial Need and Support: Include a letter from a school administration official detailing the school's financial need (e.g., percentage of students qualifying for free lunches) and the current state of forensic science education availability at the school.

Send all documents in PDF format to Ashley Derden at [aderden@aafs.org] The FSF will confirm receipt within two business days. If confirmation is not received, contact Ashley Derden to verify receipt. Applicants will be notified of the committee's decision by June 1, 2025.
