The Fulbright Commission, sponsored by Radboud University, is offering scholarships to excellent American students for study and research purposes at graduate level at Radboud University in Nijmegen for the Academic Year 2025/2026. The scholarship is available for all English-taught Master’s and Research Master’s programmes at Radboud University, with the exception of Erasmus Mundus Master’s programmes and joint or double degree Master’s programmes.

The Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship is available for all English - Taught Master's & Research programs at Radboud University.

Scholarship Value and Coverage
The Fulbright-Radboud Scholarship is a partial scholarship that provides awardees with a monthly living allowance for the entire duration of the chosen program plus additional travel-related costs as follows:
1). Grant amounts for one-year programmes:
The grant will be paid in 11 monthly installments of €1,550. International travel will be reimbursed to a maximum of €1,000. The residence permit will be arranged and paid for by Radboud University (approximately €210). Tuition fees are not waived, and differ per programme. Costs for insurance are covered by Fulbright.
2). Grant amounts for two-year programmes:
The grant for the first year of study will be paid in 12 monthly installments of €1,550. International travel will be reimbursed to a maximum of €1,000. The costs for a visa and residence permit (approximately €207) will also be fully covered. Tuition fees are not waived, and differ per programme. Costs for insurance are covered by Fulbright.
The grant for a two-year Master's will be available for both years of study, on the condition that sufficient progress is made and sufficient results have been achieved in the first year. If awarded for the second year, the second grant period will not exceed 11 monthly installments of €1,550.

Application Procedure
For the Fulbright-Radboud scholarship, applicants need to submit an Application for The Fulbright Commission as well as a regular application for admission at one of Radboud University's eligible master's programs.
In your Fulbright online application, for Award Name please select Radboud University from the drop down menu.
Applicants are required to have applied separately to Radboud University by 1 January 2025 for admission to the Master’s programme of their choice via the online application procedure, independent of their Fulbright application. At the time of application or later during the selection process for the Fulbright grant, scholarship candidates must be admitted to an English-taught Master's programme at Radboud University and provide a letter of admission. The Radboud University application process for a Master's programme opens 1 October 2024. The application results will be made known at the end of March 2025.
