3. PhD positions with apprenticeships - Candidates conduct research while being employed by a company.


4. PhD positions without scholarships – Available for self-funded students.


5. Reserved PhD positions – Available for recipients of government-funded scholarships, international initiative participants, and research fellows.

 

Scholarship Benefits

  1. Annual PhD scholarship of €18,854.52 (gross), with a net monthly stipend of approximately €1,386.

  2. Exemption from local income tax and personal income tax (IRPEF).

  3. Additional 50% increase in stipend for research periods abroad.

  4. A research budget equal to 10% of the total scholarship amount.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must hold a Master’s degree (second-level degree) from an accredited institution, allowing admission to a PhD programme in the country of issuance.
