Gender in Research Fellowship Overview
The Gender in Research Fellowship aims to advance knowledge and skills in incorporating gender dimensions into health research. Fellows will participate in two key courses during the Erasmus Summer Programme:
1. Gender and Health (ESP78): This course delves into the impact of gender on health outcomes and the importance of integrating gender perspectives in health research and practice.
2. Gender in Research Workshops (ESP79): These workshops provide practical training on applying gender analysis in various research disciplines, enhancing the quality and relevance of health research.
A total of 20 fellowships are available, ensuring an intimate and focused learning environment. Recipients are expected to attend both courses as part of the fellowship program.

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Status: Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral program or be at the post-doctoral degree stage.
Post-Doctoral Applicants: Must apply within five years of completing their PhD. Extensions may be considered for maternity or parental leave; applicants should contact ZonMw in advance for such considerations.
Residency: Open to both Dutch and non-Dutch applicants; no affiliation with Dutch research institutions or residency in The Netherlands is required.
