Google Creative Fellowship Summary

  • Eligibility: Emerging creative thinkers with 0–5 years of experience; must have work authorization in the United States

 

Google Creative Program Overview

The Google Creative Fellowship aims to foster a dynamic network of creative professionals by immersing fellows in real-world projects across various in-house creative departments. Participants will work alongside top talent, gaining exposure to Google's innovative approaches and contributing to impactful projects. This experience is designed to enhance the fellows' creative skills and professional development.


Available Roles

Fellows will be placed in dedicated creative teams, including:


1. Brand Studio:

  • Focuses on building the Google brand through films, ad campaigns, and interactive experiences.

  • Positions: Producer, Visual Designer, Social Creative/Copywriter, Creative Technologist


2. Creative Lab:

  • Aims to highlight Google's innovations and ideals.

  • Positions: Creative Technologist, Visual Designer


3. Cloud Brand & Creative:

  • Simplifies complex cloud technology with human-centric design.

  • Position: Designer


4. YouTube Creative Studio:

  • Brings the magic of YouTube to life, focusing on Shorts, Subscriptions, and Creators.

  • Position: Social Creative

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Have 0–5 years of creative experience.

  2. Possess a clear point of view and passion for making things and telling stories.

  3. Be excited to bring their unique voice and craft to Google's creative teams.

  4. Have work authorization in the United States.

  5. Be available for full-time, in-office work (at least three days per week) in one of the specified locations.

 

Application Procedure

1. Submission of Interest:

Complete the application form available on the Google Creative Fellowship website by March 10, 2025, 5 PM PST.


2. Shortlisting:

Candidates will be informed of their results by mid-April 2025.


3. Interviews:

A third-party employment agency will contact finalist candidates for next steps in early May 2025.

  • Program Structure: This is not an internship; fellows will be employed as freelancers via one of Google's staffing partners.
