InnovInOnco Graduate Excellence Scholarship 2025 | Masters in Oncology

ÑThe InnovInOnco Graduate Program invites outstanding international students to apply for its Excellence Scholarships. These scholarships are designed for master's students aiming to advance their knowledge and skills in the field of oncology for the academic year 2025-2026.

This program is part of the Graduate+ initiative, which involves collaboration between four French universities on the Lyon-Saint-Etienne site. The initiative emphasizes transdisciplinary excellence, research immersion, and international mobility.

 

About the InnovInOnco Graduate Program

The InnovInOnco Graduate Program offers specialized training in oncology through its Master Cancer program, which is divided into:

1. Master 1 Cancer

2. Master 2 Specializations with three distinct tracks:

  • Cancer Biology: Focused on biological mechanisms of cancer and technological innovations. Includes seminars, research projects, and internships.

  • Therapeutic Innovations in Oncology: Emphasis on drug design, clinical trials, and veterinary oncology research.

  • Cancer Bioengineering: Entirely in English, this track explores the physico-chemical properties of cancer and cutting-edge technologies like 3D models and microfluidics.

 

Scholarship Value

Each scholarship is worth €10,000 per year, paid as €1,000 per month for 10 months. A total of five scholarships are available for the upcoming academic year.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  1. International students who are new to a French university and reside outside of France at the time of application (dual citizenship allowed).

  2. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or have completed **one year of a Master's program in oncology or related fields (e.g., biosciences, biophysics, bioinformatics).

 

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates will be evaluated based on: Academic excellence

  • Research internship experience and technical skills

  • Motivation and alignment of the professional project with the program’s goals.

 

Application Procedure

Gather the following Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following as a single PDF file:

  1. Proof of higher education diplomas (Bachelor’s or Master 1).

  2. A 1-page CV**.

  3. Motivation letter detailing career goals, program relevance, and motivation to join Université Claude Bernard Lyon1

  4. Description of previous studies.

  5. Transcripts of records (from Bachelor’s degree onward).

  6. Abstracts of previous academic work (if applicable).

  7. English proficiency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), unless the applicant is a native English speaker.

  8. A copy of an official identity document.

ℹ️ Parallel Admission Process

In addition to the scholarship application, students must apply to their chosen master's program via the dedicated national platforms. Both procedures are independent yet mandatory.
