JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowship Eligibility
Target Audience: Mid-career scholars
Degree Requirement: Doctoral degree obtained on or after April 2, 2019
Professional Experience: Relevant professional and/or research experience
Nationality: Citizens of countries with diplomatic relations with Japan

Japanese nationals (including dual citizenship holders)
Permanent residents of Japan
Previous recipients of JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan
Application Procedure
Before starting your application, a host institution must be confirmed before applying for the fellowship. Applicants are responsible for finding and negotiating an agreement with a host researcher at a Japanese institution as the UNU-IAS Fellowship Committee cannot support the process. After securing a host institution, you can submit your application by filling out the online application form.
