King's College London is proud to announce the CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education, a generous scholarship initiative made possible through the support of CMA CGM, a global leader in sea, land, air, and logistics solutions. This fund is dedicated to providing financial support to postgraduate scholars from Lebanon over the next three years.
This scholarship will provide full tuition fee waivers and a stipend of £20,000 for Lebanese nationals pursuing Master's programmes at King's College London in the 2025/26 academic year. The fund is aimed at fostering academic excellence and supporting talented students from Lebanon.
CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education Award Value
Stipend: £20,000 for the academic year 2025/26.
Tuition Fees: Full waiver for Master's programmes (excluding MBA and Executive Education).
Additional Costs: Travel costs, including visa application fees and flights, are not covered by this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education, candidates must:
Be a Lebanese national, with preference given to those ordinarily resident in Lebanon.
Be classified as Overseas Fee Status.
Be applying for a one-year Master's programme in the 2025/26 academic year. All Master's programmes are eligible, except MBA and Executive Education.
Preference will be given to applicants applying to programmes within King's Business School, Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences, and Faculty of Social Sciences & Public Policy.
Award Conditions
Applicants must meet the university's English entry requirements. Pre-sessional English courses are not supported by this programme.
This award is for students commencing in the academic year 2025/26 and cannot be deferred.
Funding will not cover repeat years, interruptions, or withdrawal from study.
Successful scholars will be required to submit an annual progress update to the donors.
Application Process
• Step A: University Application
To be considered for this scholarship, you need first to apply for any eligible one-year Master's programme in the 2025/26 academic year. (All Master's programmes are eligible, except MBA and Executive Education). You need this step because you'll receive your student (King's ID) to fill the scholarship application form.
• Step B: Online Scholarship Form
Now that you have your King's ID, you can proceed and submit your application as below:
1. Scholarship Application Form: You can submit your application through filling this online application form.
2. Personal Statement: In your online application, Write a personal statement demonstrating financial need and the impact receiving this bursary will have. Additionally, you'll need to save your personal statement as PDF or Word file because you'll need to email it with supporting Documents later. Name the file according to this format: "SURNAME, Forename - CMA CGM Scholarship statement”
3. Answer Application Questions clearly: Answer all questions and complete all sections of the online application form. The questions are designed to establish your financial and academic circumstances clearly.
4. Supporting Documents: Submit documentary evidence with your application. Applications without the required documents cannot be considered.
5. Submission: Complete and submit the online application form and email supporting documents with your personal statement file to: (funding@kcl.ac.uk)
