Program Overview
The L'Oréal Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program is a regional open innovation competition aimed at discovering, supporting, and nurturing promising startups across the SAPMENA region. The program focuses on co-creating innovative beauty tech solutions in five key areas:
Consumer Experience: Enhancing customer interactions and personalization.
Content & Media: Developing engaging content and media strategies.
New Commerce: Innovating e-commerce and social commerce platforms.
Tech for Good: Leveraging technology for sustainable and ethical beauty solutions.
Science for Beauty: Advancing scientific research and applications in beauty tech.
The program is structured to include a startup competition followed by a pilot stage, providing participants with the opportunity to collaborate closely with L'Oréal's commercial and digital leaders. This collaboration aims to test new ideas and scale innovative solutions across L'Oréal's extensive market presence in the SAPMENA region.

Stage: Early to mid-stage startups are encouraged to apply, but companies at all stages of fundraising are welcome.
Innovation Focus: Solutions should align with one or more of the program's focus areas.
Application Procedure
1. Online Application: Submit your application through the official program website by May 30, 2025.
2. Pitch Deck: Provide a comprehensive pitch deck outlining your startup's solution, business model, and alignment with L'Oréal's focus areas.
3. Video Submission: Include a 2-minute video introducing your team and innovation.
4. Selection Process:
June 2025: Shortlisting of 10 startups from each region for regional semi-finals.
November 5, 2025: Grand Finale in Singapore, where finalists will present their solutions.
