Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships, applicants must meet the following requirements:
International Student: Must be a non-Canadian student requiring a Canadian study permit.
Current Year of Study: Must be in their final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June of the year they are applying.

Application Timeline and Process
The Lester B. The Process
1. High School Nomination: Students must be nominated by their high school and the school will be asked to fill a nomination form Between July and mid October as a deadline.
2. Programme Application: Nominated students submit their applications directly to the University of Toronto (the scholarship will be awarded for your first choice programme).
3. Scholarship Application: Once university of Toronto receives a nomination and you’ve applied to the university, you can complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application by November each year. You will receive a private link to the scholarship application when you are successfully nominated by your school. You will usually have to Submit all necessary documentation by early November each year.
4. Selection Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on their academic achievements, leadership potential, and personal qualities and they'll be notified about the outcomes.

High schools already verified by Enrolment Services will be contacted annually by email with a personalized, secure nomination form starting each July.
