The University of Saskatchewan has a PhD scholarship available, focusing on the analysis of mycotoxins in wheat crops. This collaborative research project, involving experts from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition and the Agriculture department (Drs. Anas El-Aneed and Lipu Wang and Randy Kutcher) aims to investigate how mycotoxins affect grain quality, marketability, and the health and safety of both animals and humans.
The successful applicant will conduct their research within the laboratory of Dr. El-Aneed with an expected start date of September 2024. Below are the details about the scholarship position.
Qualifications:
MSc degree in life sciences, such as chemistry, biochemistry, agriculture or relevant sciences (received in the past 3 years) or undergraduate degrees with at least 3 years relevant work experience.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

Financial Support:
