Scholarship Benefits and Coverage
The scholarship offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
Tuition Fees: Covers actual tuition fees and other related school fees for Master’s and Doctorate levels
Living Stipend: Php 27,500/month for local students (Master’s), Php 36,000/month for local students (Doctorate), with adjustments for foreign-based students
Book Allowance: Php 22,000/year for books, journals, and instructional materials
Technology Support: Laptop allowance up to Php 50,000 and monthly internet connection allowance of Php 1,000
Round-trip Transportation Allowance: Reimbursement for travel between the residence and the place of study at the start and end of the scholarship period
Pre-departure Allowance: Covers costs for visa processing, medical expenses, and other necessary pre-departure activities for international students
Relocation Allowance: Provided for those studying outside their current region or country
Thesis/Dissertation Allowance: Php 66,000 for Master’s students, Php 110,000 for Doctorate students

AD ASTRA Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the AD ASTRA Scholarships, applicants must:
Be Filipino citizens
Be no older than 45 years of age for Master’s or Doctorate programs, or no older than 50 years for sandwich programs
Be in good health and of good moral character (as attested by two character references)
Hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Have a research proposal aligned with PhilSA’s Key Development Areas
Meet the admission requirements of a CHED-recognized higher educational institution (for local scholarships)
Not have any pending administrative or criminal cases
Have no existing service obligations from other scholarship programs, unless cleared by the granting institution
