At Clinical Science Departments of Neurosurgery The Postodoctoral Fellow is required to manage data projects in the Tulane Center for Clinical Neurosciences. He/she will be responsible for the creation, updating, maintenance, quality control and filtering, validation, security and analyses of research projects databases; along with multiplatform system programming and provision of computerized reports as needed. He/she will also be responsible for developing bioinformatics and data analysis protocols and pipelines, and assisting with faculty analytic projects with a variety of other study related tasks, in compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory agencies guidelines.

The Department of Computer Science at Tulane University has an immediate new opening for a full-time postdoctoral fellow. The position will commence at an agreed upon start date and initially corresponds to a one-year appointment, renewable for up to two years.
The successful applicant will work with Prof. Nicholas Mattei and the Tulane Data & Artificial Intelligence Lab (TUDAI). The applicant is expected to join the lab and work on research involving the theory and practice of artificial intelligence, using tools from algorithm design, game theory, machine learning, data science, and also exploring the impact of these technologies on society. Applicants should be motivated to both join existing projects as well as propose new opportunities and directions.
