  4. Professional Experience: No prior full-time employment in conservation or clean energy sectors.

  5. Work Authorization: Ability to work in the United States for the full duration of the fellowship. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients are encouraged to apply.

3. Respond to Application Questions:

  • Personal Experience & Leadership: Describe lived experiences that have prepared you for a career in conservation and clean energy (500-word limit).

  • Future Vision: Envision the world seven generations from now after resolving current environmental challenges. Explain how you contributed to these solutions and how the RAY Fellowship supported your journey. This prompt can be answered through various mediums, such as essays, videos, or artwork.


4. Submit Application:

Ensure all materials are submitted by March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.

  • Phone Screenings: Begin on April 4, 2025.

  • Interviews: Start on April 22, 2025.

  • Final Decisions: Notifications to selected finalists will be made by early June 2025.
