Programme Overview
Impact Pioneers ’25 is designed to empower leaders and enablers in Climate Tech entrepreneurship by fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation. The programme:
Brings together key players from startup hubs, accelerators, public sector agencies, and innovation ecosystems
Focuses on Climate Tech, defined as technologies aimed at mitigating or adapting to climate change
Strengthens local and global entrepreneurship ecosystems to drive sustainable economic and environmental impact
Supports participants in **building international partnerships** to help Climate Tech startups scale their reach and influence
The programme aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8, Target 8.3, which promotes entrepreneurship and innovation to drive economic and environmental progress.
Eligible Programme Countries
Participants must be from one of the following programme countries:
Africa: Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia
Europe: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine*, Turkey
MENA: Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia
Ukrainian applicants residing outside Ukraine are also eligible
Programme Benefits
Participation in Impact Pioneers ’25 is free of charge and includes:

Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to leaders and practitioners working in entrepreneurship ecosystems that support businesses focused on sustainability and the green transition. Eligible applicants may work as:
Startup hub, accelerator, or incubation founders and managers
Tech and innovation hub founders and managers
University accelerator or incubator managers
Public sector employees supporting Climate Tech entrepreneurship
Eligibility Criteria
Be a citizen and resident of one of the 26 eligible programme countries
Work in an organization that supports entrepreneurs in Climate Tech or sustainability
Have a mandate to develop new international partnerships for their organization
Have a good command of English** (both written and spoken)
Be willing to actively participate.and share knowledge with peers
Have identified challenges and opportunities to improve Climate Tech entrepreneurship in their local ecosystem
7. Their organization must:
Be locally owned and based in one of the eligible countries
Actively support or plan to support entrepreneurs in sustainability and green transition
Be committed to contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Programme Structure and Format
The programme consists of three main components:
1. Online Learning (August–October 2025)
Weekly **networking and masterclass sessions**
Case sharing and expert-led discussions on Climate Tech, sustainability, and entrepreneurship
Collaboration on real-world challenges and project ideas
2. Sweden Week – Onsite in Stockholm (September/October 2025, exact dates TBD)
One-week immersive experience in Stockholm
Workshops, field visits, and networking with Swedish Climate Tech leaders
Exclusive meetings with startup hubs, investors, and policymakers
Collaboration with Swedish embassies and innovation agencies
3. Way Forward – Post-Programme Engagement (October/November 2025)
Participants develop action plans to apply their learnings in their local ecosystems
Strengthened international collaborations through Swedish embassies and networks
Commitment and Expectations
Participants must dedicate around two hours per week for online activities.
Attending the one-week summit in Sweden is mandatory.
Participants are expected to actively contribute by sharing insights and collaborating with peers.
