The goal is to support the socio-economic growth of partner countries through the cultivation of highly talented individuals. This program also enhances the internationalization of Taiwan's universities and expands Taiwanese youth's global perspective. Here are the details.

Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Coverage
Full Tuition Waiver: Covers all tuition fees required by the student's university.
Round-Trip Airfare: Provides the most direct flights to and from Taiwan.
On-Campus Housing: Ensures accommodation in student dormitories provided by the host university.
Monthly Stipend: Offers a monthly allowance to cover living expenses.
Comprehensive Insurance: Includes health and accident insurance for the entire duration of the program.

Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship: Be a citizen of an eligible country and meet any specific criteria set by its government.
Dual Citizenship: Must not be a Taiwanese citizen or a foreign student.
Academic Requirements: Meet the admission requirements of the partner university.
Visa Requirements: Meet visa and Alien Residence Certificate (ARC) requirements.
Exclusivity: Other Taiwanese government scholarships cannot be held at the same time.
Highest Diploma: Provide the highest level of diploma within the required deadline.
Application Procedure
Application Procedure for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2025 is according to below steps:
Step 1: Complete the Online Scholarship Application
Applicants must fill out the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship Online Application form and upload the necessary application materials between December 1, 2024, and March 15, 2025. Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete, as incomplete applications will not be processed. ℹ️ Note that each applicant can only apply for one program at a time.
Step 2: University Application
Applicants must also submit all required documents to the chosen TaiwanICDF partner universities before their respective admissions deadlines. Step 3: Contact ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Office
Applicants must complete an online application and upload the necessary documents, including:
A photocopy of the applicant's passport or proof of nationality.
A photocopy of the highest-level diploma and academic transcripts.
A photocopy of the English proficiency certificate (TOEFL or another recognized exam, or proof of graduation from an English-taught program). Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from this requirement.
ℹ️ Note: Whether hard copies are needed depends on the individual ROC (Taiwan) Embassy, Consulate General, or Representative Office's decision.
Step 4: First Review
The ROC (Taiwan) Embassy, Consulate General, or Representative Office will conduct an initial review of applicants based on TaiwanICDF's eligibility requirements and selection criteria. They will then forward a list of recommended applicants to TaiwanICDF by March 31.
Step 5: Second Review
A second review will be conducted by an academic committee comprising representatives from the individual partner university and TaiwanICDF. This review will be based on each university's selection criteria and TaiwanICDF's eligibility and selection criteria.
