Eligibility Criteria
The scholarship is open to both Home and Overseas Students. Applicants must demonstrate academic strength and meet at least one of the following criteria:
Belong to under-represented groups (e.g., Global Majority, first-generation university students, recipients of financial aid during secondary or undergraduate studies).
Students who attended non-fee-paying schools;
Students who were, during their secondary education, in receipt of free school meals;
Be in receipt of Disability Support Allowance or a care leaver.
Be the primary carer for another individual.
Be a national and resident of a country classified as a least developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income state by the OECD.
Hold refugee or Humanitarian Protection status.
Demonstrate significant academic achievements, engagement in relevant activities, and ambitious future career or study goals.
Academic ability will be established through a demonstration – set out in the personal statement appended to the Scholarship application – of:
Outstanding past academic achievements within the context of the learning environment specific to each student;
Demonstrable, quantifiable and continued engagement in activities relevant to the course and its outcomes; and
A demonstration of substantial ambition in relation to course outcomes and future career/study prospects.
ℹ️ Additional Consideration
Applicants not awarded the "Art for All" Scholarship will automatically be considered for The Courtauld Postgraduate Studies Scholarships, provided they meet the relevant criteria.
