Program Overview

1). Partial Studies:

Eligibility Check
The Hungarian Bilateral State Scholarships 2025/2026 are open to the following individuals:
1. Citizenship:
Applicants must be foreign nationals.
Citizens of countries with bilateral agreements with Hungary may apply as nominees of their national scholarship organization.
Citizens from countries without bilateral agreements can apply directly to Tempus Public Foundation.
2. Education Level:
Applicants must hold a secondary school diploma for bachelor’s programs or equivalent.
For master’s programs, a bachelor’s degree is required.
For doctoral programs, a master’s degree is mandatory.
3. Age Requirement:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old by September 1, 2025. There is no upper age limit.
4. Language Proficiency:
A B2 level proficiency in Hungarian or the language of instruction is required. If the chosen program is in Hungarian, applicants without a B2 level are eligible for a one-year preparatory course.
5. Other Requirements:

Ineligibility:

Individuals who failed to fulfill obligations (e.g., final reports) for previous bilateral scholarships.
