JSMA Scholarships Overview
The JMSA, established in 1973, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Japanese and Japanese-American communities through health-related initiatives. The scholarships, funded by a variety of donors, aim to:

JSMA Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
Enrollment: Must be enrolled in a healthcare-related graduate program (medical, dental, nursing, etc.) or in postgraduate training (resident, fellow, postdoc) in the U.S.
Membership: Must be a JMSA member. Membership can be obtained at [JMSA.org] official website.
Residency: Must be physically present in the U.S. at the time of application.
Project Proposal: Submit a clear and feasible project that aligns with JMSA’s mission, benefiting the Japanese community.
Reporting: Provide interim and final reports on the project’s progress.

Students: $20 / year
Residents/fellows: $60 / year
