The University of Winnipeg President Scholarship 2024-25 for international students is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 academic year. We strongly encourage all International Students to apply for the University of Winnipeg President Scholarship 2024-25 in Canada. This Scholarship is open to students worldwide who wish to pursue Undergraduate, Master’s, Ph.D., and diploma programs. The University of Winnipeg offers all major fields and specializations.
The President's Scholarship for World Leaders (Graduate) is given to international students entering a University of Winnipeg graduate program for the first time. Applicants must have a minimum 80% admission average or equivalent and must be involved in activities that demonstrate leadership. Qualifying year or Pre-Masters students do not qualify.
Scholarship Value
The University of Winnipeg President's Scholarships for World Leaders for Graduate Students are valued at $5,000.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must have completed an application for admission to the University of Winnipeg to be considered for this award.
Eligible students must satisfy below criteria:
Must be an international student.
Must be a student entering their first program at UW.
Must have the equivalent of a Canadian 80% grade average, based on Grade 12 academic courses used for admission.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities.
A completed application package includes the following:
A completed application form.
One 250-500 word personal statement
A curriculum vitae
Two references who can speak to your extra-curricular/volunteer activities
Application procedure
1). Complete an application for admission to The University of Winnipeg.
The admissions department will assign you a UWinnipeg Student number when you start an application for admission. Only applications with valid student ID number will be reviewed.
2). Complete the web application form
