Funding Details and benefits:
The University of Trieste offers over 150 funded PhD positions for the 2024/25 academic year across various fields of study. Below you can find a summary of the scholarships and their benefits:
For General PhD Scholarships
Annual Stipend: €16,243 (gross of national insurance contributions), paid in monthly installments.
Research Abroad: Up to 50% increase in stipend for research conducted abroad for at least 60 uninterrupted days.
Industrial PhD Scholarships of the Programs: Applied Data Science and AI, Circular Economy, Personalized Medicine, Industrial and Information Engineering.
Annual Stipend: Same as general PhD scholarships.
Industry Collaboration: Opportunities for practical experience with industry partners.
Research Support: Additional resources for industry-aligned research projects.
