WASCAL IMP-EGH Scholarship Overview
The IMP-EGH is designed to prepare students to tackle energy challenges related to climate change in West Africa. Available Study Programs
Host University: Université Cheikh Anta Diop, Senegal
Program Overview: Focuses on the economic, policy, and infrastructural aspects of green hydrogen technology.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must hold a BSc degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline or engineering, with strengths in physics, (bio)chemistry, electrical or mechanical engineering, or related fields.
Host University: University of Lomé, Togo
Program Overview: Emphasizes the production and utilization of bioenergy and biofuels in conjunction with green hydrogen technology.
Eligibility Criteria: Similar to the above program, requiring a BSc degree or equivalent in relevant scientific or engineering disciplines.
Host University: Université Abdou Moumouni, Niger
Program Overview: Centers on photovoltaic systems and their integration with green hydrogen technologies.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants should have a strong background in scientific or engineering disciplines related to the program's focus.
Host University: Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Côte d’Ivoire
Program Overview: Explores the utilization of natural resources for biofuel and green hydrogen production, including water resource management and related technologies.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must possess a BSc degree or equivalent in relevant fields, demonstrating technical strengths pertinent to the program.

Eligibility Criteria

Hold a minimum of a BSc degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
Not more than 35 years old by December 31, 2025.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills may be an asset.
